We measure the floor properly — every room that is getting new floor, plus the thresholds and the transitions, because those are where a quote drifts. On a garage we read the slab as well: hairline cracks, spalling, a moisture reading, and whether anything was sealed onto it before. Those four things move an epoxy number more than the size of the room does, and none of them can be seen down a phone line.

Then we put real samples on your own floor, in your own light. A finish that looks right on a screen at midnight is a different colour in a west-facing living room at four in the afternoon, and you should see that before you choose, not after.
