Flake epoxy · San Diego County
Flake epoxy floors that hide the dirt.
Colored vinyl flake broadcast into the coating, in ¼, ⅛ or 1/16-inch chips. It hides dirt and small imperfections, which is why it’s the favorite for working shops. Driveable in three days, with a written 5-year warranty.

The build-up
What goes into a flake floor?
A full broadcast: the chips go into the wet base coat until it will take no more, the loose ones are swept off once it sets, and a clear topcoat locks the rest in. The chips are why a flake floor forgives a dusty garage, and why it grips better underfoot than a smooth coat.

Blended flake
Several solid chip colors mixed into one blend. The classic garage floor, in three chip sizes.
Brindle flake
Chips with fine striations running through each one, for a stone-like depth.
Hybrid flake
A mix of chip sizes in one blend, so large accent chips sit over a fine field.

How it works
How is a flake epoxy floor installed?
In four stages, and for most garages all four happen in one day. We diamond-grind the slab, fill and grind flush every crack and spall, squeegee and back-roll the base, then broadcast the flake into the wet coat and lock it under a clear topcoat.
Grind
We diamond-grind the slab to open it up. No acid etch, no shortcuts: it’s the reason our coatings don’t peel in two years.
Repair
Cracks, pits and spalls get filled and ground flush before anything goes on. We flag every one at the quote visit, so nothing surprises you.
Coat
The base coat goes down by squeegee and back-roller, in the color you picked from real samples in your own garage light.
Broadcast & seal
Flake or metallic pigment goes into the wet coat, then a clear topcoat locks it in. Walkable the next day, driveable in three, and covered by a written 5-year warranty.
